Does deleting pages change the original PDF?

No. The browser creates a new output copy with the selected pages removed. Keep the original file until the cleaned copy has been reviewed.

Why do printed page numbers differ from PDF page positions?

Printed numbers are page content and may not match the physical page positions used by the tool, especially when covers, blanks, or appendices are present.

How should I verify the result before sharing it?

Open the output, compare the page count, check the first and last remaining pages, and review bookmarks, links, forms, and visible page references when they matter.
