Can page numbering start after the cover page?

Yes. Set the starting page and starting number so covers or title pages can stay unnumbered while the main packet starts at the intended value.

Does adding page numbers update the PDF table of contents?

No. Page numbers are visible page content. Existing tables of contents and cross-references do not update automatically.

What happens when pages have different sizes?

The same margin and position can appear differently on mixed page sizes. Review landscape pages, scans, and attachments before sharing the numbered copy.
