Can flattened highlights be removed?

No. Markup that has already become normal page content cannot be removed as an annotation object.

What happens when a link annotation is removed?

The clickable link object is removed while the visible page text remains part of the page content.

Will form fields remain editable?

This tool targets page annotation objects. Form field behavior should be reviewed after processing if the PDF contains interactive fields.

Which annotation types are supported?

Tested types include text notes, highlights, underlines, strikeouts, free text, ink, stamps, squares, circles, lines, and links.
